  • I didn't know the greatest N64 game ever would help me working towards the planche pushup. Thanks!

  • I'v been trying these on and off for about 3 weeks now- considering my height, and total lack of balance- I'm proud to have achieved 15 seconds!

  • I tried this and i got it off the ground by an inch, this guy does it better.

  • wallah ma tahchem et ta pas honte and shame on you

  • hey my friend not bad i love your training routines, i could hold deep horse stance for 5min 30 sec and that in 2 weeks but i stopped. i ll start again do you do kung uf???

  • whats the background music? could you give us some details?

  • @sg04f The background music is the shop music from Zelda: Ocarina of time. If you google Zreomusic you should be able to find the site with the music.

  • @sg04f Is it really? I'm pretty sure this is from Super Mario 64 on the lava map.

    It's definitely Super Mario 64

  • without your own shield and sword you wont get past here!! ;)

  • If I'm not able to do this apparently simple exercise, what should I do to help? Push ups?

  • @ForeverDorian I think doing exercises that resemble this as closely as possible would be better. Maybe try using a step or a wall for assistance to get used to the exercise. For me, I just slowly built up my time. I started with only 5 secs to begin with. I just did sets of 5sec reps until I could hold it for longer.

  • @ForeverDorian lol easy?! no way this is damn hard I've bin doing some hard training and this is still almost impossible to do...

  • @ravinthelightning1 haha, everyone in the comments makes it sounds so damn easy, thats why i said that.

  • HAHAHA that fall was hilarious. Good Job though.

  • do squats iit will increase your leg strength

  • AWESOME MUSIC!!

  • absolutely loooooove the zelda music! :) i want a deku nut. >:

  • Damn,it's not boring but great!

  • thumbs up for the zelda music

  • i can do frogstand for like... 1min + but i want to learn plance but i can't get my legs up any tips anyone??

  • It looks like you really practice and I like the music. lol

  • ive been training for a few days now and i can only do the frog stand for about 15 seconds then i lose balance but i can last about 36seconds in the proper horse stance, what kind of strength increase can i expect if i train everyday for a month say?

  • It's hard to say because strength increases will differ from person to person.

But to keep things simple... I think you can get a lot done in a month. One thing that helped me is varying the intensity level often.

e.g.Cycle between hard days, medium days, and easy days. This is important if you are wanting to train everyday with similar exercises. I found that if you train to your limit everyday you will probably hit the wall a lot sooner and not progress as fast.

    Good luck.

  • can this help to do a nice handstand progression?

  • @ss4vegeto1 I think it could help in developing the strength for a handstand but if your goal is to do a handstand then I think more specific handstand training would be much better.

  • when you start out do you rest them on your knees or do you lift and keep them up

  • i can barely do 15 secs xd...and the l sit?! i hate that i can barely start it lmao. GOOD JOB!

  • Your video rocked , dude! WOW! I can't even imagine doing what you did in this video, but it really gives me a goal or marker to aim for. Thanks a lot!

  • Zelda music ftw.

  • Is there a point to this exercise? What does doing it accomplish?

  • Well, as you get stronger you start doing harder variations of the exercise which will eventually lead to a full planche.

If a full planche is something you want to accomplish then the point of this exercise is to gradually build up your strength to achieve it.

  • hey. like the kid below me i am looking for a good calisthenics workout and it looks like you know what your talking about. i recently have stopped lifting weights and want to get into calisthenics but there isnt a workout to be seen anywhere! if u could help me out thatd be awesome man

  • u think u can send me a message describing your workout for a week? i have problem finding these...

  • I'll have to get working on this. Nice kettlebells, by the way.

  • BTW, I hate you now, I tried to do what you are doing on the video and almost smashed my face right on the floor...

    HAHHAHAHA

    gj

  • It's a good exercise for training your face.

  • LMAO, best responce

  • Papyrus font FTW lol!

  • Haha good spotting. It's my favourite font at the moment haha..

  • I know my fonts ;)

  • zelda shop music ftw! what kind of training schedule are you following?

  • Yeah bro haha!

I practise my static and strength exercises 3 times a week.

I usually stick with 4 exercises: Press, Pull, Core, and Legs.

This one is my pressing exercise (once I get to the planche variations).

I'm spreading all this over about 6 months, and hopefully by then I can do a full planche!

  • dude I just did like 120 psuedo pushups every day, thats how I got to tuck planche, dont give up!

  • cool man!

  • Nice one, how old are you ;)

  • Well done, but that doesnt look like frog stand. Looks harder. 5/5

  • Hehe, I know how that is. =]

    Good work.
