I moved to Sacramento in January 1986. I used to work at Crystal Cream and Butter dairy on D. Street. The owners sold the business this year, and sold the plant to the city. Sacramento has grown a lot over the years, but I feel that it's still very slow paced. A few years ago, we were voted the most diverse city by Time Magazine.
I was born and raised in Sacto (well.....really a suburb of Sacto hehe)! I used to work at the Wells Fargo Building down Main Street that is near the capital. :)
Those riders were flying...cool! It looked like perfect racing weather. I know what you mean about speaking to your camera in public...if they only knew!

I live in Sac. I remember this last yr in the downtown when they shutdown most of the st. I'm been here almost all my life but it feels dull.
