I catch croaker in north carolina just using shrimp and evinrudes aren't very good engines i have 2 boats one with a 300hp verado and 1 with a 200hp sukuki

I fish from ocean piers and have pretty good luck. I would really like to get a boat though and go for bigger fish! ;)

You, sir, are insane. You have a boat and you are fishing for croaker? Why? You can catch them all day from the pier.

You are using little fish for bait? Why not just use cut bait and squid? That's what they like.
