:: they are still aired on AOR and 80's raido shows in Mexico, I was 15 when they released Thin red Line, I still got with me that Lp, I'm 39...GReat Band!
Hey--wonder if anyone agrees with me that this was their "best" album--every song on there--yet it got little attention as compared with their debut album--which I love also, by the way--"I'm Still Searching" is still is SO rocking, and "This Island Earth"--great song, as well as "Diamond Sun"! 3 of my favorite songs from the 80's--their second album had it all goin' on--rocking-out, and deep, introspective songs--very original--not just another album with "Someday"-not same sound--great band!
I remember them performing this song at the grand opening of the Skydome in Toronto... I think that everyone was quite disappointed that it was performed by doing it "playback".
WRONG! Band is to playback. lead singer has "live" mic. There was a big battle between himself and producer and director on whether the band could be "live" @ such an enormous technical production but in the end the compromise was he got to sing live over track. Making him first "live" vocal ever @ Toronto's Skydome
I think I could safely say this is my very favourite Canadian rock song...brings back memories of listening to this very rousing tune during a glorious Okanagan Valley summer back in the late 1980's
im lookin for this one real pump song by them.... its got a real like victory anthem beat to it that is unreal, it makes the song ....cant find the name tho... anybody know??

Glass Tiger is currently working on a new album...hopefully due out sometime soon! Alan was married in September and he also has a little girl who is 3 or 4. Be sure to check out their new album when it comes out!
I never could figure out why the vid channels play that major fromagitude "Don't Forget Me" vid. It breaks the cheese barrier and goes into past-their-due-date dairy product hell. This is what I think of when I think of Glass Tiger. I was ready to dismiss them until I heard this tune and gave the rest of their library a try.
Appearing this coming Friday in St. Catharines

Wasn't singer Alan Frew in a band before Glass Tiger in the late 70's or early 80's?
bucky468 10 months ago
@bucky468 - Hmmm, I didn't know about that; I'll have to look it up, cause I'd be curious to hear it.

This was one of my favorite songs from GT.
I had the "Thin Red Line" on cassette, which was their first album release.Good slice of Canadiana here, although Alan Frew is from Scotland.

Great song, but Thin Red Line and You're What I look For are better by far. It's nice that Alan and the boys are touring again.

Au contraire! This is the best GT song, followed closely by "Animal Heart" at #2.
