Ive been working in car audio for 2 years now with all the top brands like Alpine, Hertz, Boston Acoustics, etc and I can tell you, matching brands DOESN'T MEAN SHIT. That goes for ANY brand of car audio equipment.

At the end of the day

- An amplifier is an amplifier.

- A speaker is a speaker.

Amplifiers can't tell the difference between different voice coils in speakers made by different manufacturers.

Don't try and talk about what you don't know anything about.

Thanks, I didnt really spend too much on this system. Most of the items i got on clearance, closeouts and returns. some from crutchfield some from some audio stores. You can call up crutchfield and talk to them about their open box returns. great way to save alot. the most expensive part of the system was the 5 Ch Kicker amp. it was arounf 800$. but,that runs the whole system and saved money on power splitters and other additional wireing.I dont think this cost much more then 2K total. Goodluck!

that my friends is gonna engrave and its gonna have a tribal border with the JL symbol in teh middle with blue leds in teh back to help illuminate it all ..

tis nice, but when you dont use a JL amp with JL subs, it gets a fucked up sound.

might want to try a 500 2 channel JL
