@ordoqui  nope i dont think so, etrade is just stock, e-minis trade on the cme in chicago on the globex framework. goto cmegroup.com for more info

@ordoqui even if u could, they have high day trading margins, so you would want to open an account with a discount broker ( i use generic trade) for futures trading and use charting system from ameritrade... because the futures broker dont really have good charting software or charge a lot if they do... discount broker give u $500 day trading margins so u can trade 1 contract for each $500 u have...

@ordoqui Yes youcan trade the e-mini on e-trade. Problem is it requires a account of atleast 50k to open a futures account with them. margins are the same as mirus or most other future brokers $500 for e-mini but 50k to open a account and you cant use ninja trader with them (not cool for me) they do have a pretty good trading platform tho for $90 i just prefer ninja trader

@ordoqui i use mirus by the way if you are new to futures they are really cool they have no minimum account balance i actually opened my account with $0 and added my funds to the account 1 month after it was open they work real well with new traders and also offer $300 margins (altho i am not sure how to get that rate) normal tho is $500
