Holy crap, have been trying to find this forever and had only been able to find a russian copy of it... I remember being pretty disturbed by the end with the audience of demons waiting to watch the cat eat the mouse. Damn nickelodean, exposing us kids to the concept of vore before our time!

i never thought i'd see this again, after so many years! i only saw this once on Nickelodeon, and i knew it had to be anime. as a matter of fact, "The Legend of Manx Mouse" was produced by Nippon Animation, and was broadcast in Japan as "Tondemo Nezumi Daikatsuyaku", back in 1979.

oh my goodness!! thanks so much for sharing this.. i watched an Arabic-dubbed version of this movie as a child.. the dubbing was made in Syria and I still have that version recorded on VHS. i will see what i can do to put it up
