Dirty and Dangerous music. This has to be one of D J's greatest rhythm inventions. Ray Manzanarek mixed this really well also, If you turn down the volume really low, you can hear the drums and bass guitar all the way across the house.

First time I heard this was in "Blinded by the Thousand Points of Light" episode from Season 3 of "21 Jump Street." Too bad the DVD producers replaced all three of the X songs in it with crappy, generic muzak.

The first time I have heard the song was in a TV-series named: Space - Above and Beyond. Dark Side of the Sun episode.. The story is set in the year of 2063.

I don' t know how I landed on this page,. but happy to realize I have a good memory even after hearing the song only once back in 1995.

Enjoy a song that could be enjoyable on the radio even in 2011.

Your description of Billy Zoom is spot on, though : ) What a great band. They started with the LA album in full, and this was the first song afterwards. And it IS the original lineup : )

I was fortunate enough to see them live in Boise a few years ago. Incredible!! I had a spot right up front, and Billy Zoom kept kneeling down in front of me and telling me to touch his guitar while he played, esp. during this song. Then after the show, he handed me his pick. It was initialed. Amazing, amazing experience!!
