In the Philippines, Kotaro Minami was renamed Robert Akizuki (don't know why) and Kamen Rider Black was the only Showa Rider series ever televise there until around 2004 they started showing Heisei Rider series only starting from Kamen Rider Ryuki

Kotaro is named Robert Akuzuki and Nobuhiko aka Shadow Moon is named Stephen Akizuki.

that's because most character names from foreign show esp toku are westernized.

the reason why it is Robert Akizuki and not Robert Minami like it's supposed to is to depict that he and Stephen(Nobuhiko) are full siblings in contrary to being half brothers in the original. thus adding more drama to the storyline.

LoL Any sensible fan would know that Kotaro only got beaten down because he was taken by surprised and in the wrong form (aka to make Decade look good) in the end of that same episode he owned them all with Bio Rider (to bad it happened off screen though)
