  • kia ora, my name is talia ellison from new zealand

Riki Ellison's family comes from a place called Otakou Marae, Dunedin New Zealand he comes from a line of very strong sportsmen including New Zealands first all blacks captain Tom Ellison or his Maori Name Tamiti Erihana. My father and Riki Ellison share the same great great grandfather, Raniera Ellison who was the nefew of Te Whiti, Te Whiti inspired and taught the ways of passive resistance to Ghandi etc. Kia Kaha e te rangatira

  • hes a former nfl player use 2 play 4 49ers and raiders as LB... he won 3 superbowls as a 49ers... and hes from NZ, haf maori (new zealand native) and new zealander

  • If they want it, let them pay for it. Not the American tax payers

  • U.S. Congressman James Traficant says that Israel has a "powerful stranglehold on the American government." Greta Van Susteren, says that Israel is "controlling much of our foreign policy" and "influencing much of our domestic policy." "We're conducting the expansionist policy of Israel and everybody's afraid to say it," he also said. "They control much of the media, they control much of the commerce of the country, and they control powerfully both bodies of the Congress. They own the Congress."

  • This guy bombed. She ripped into him like the neck fat of a gazelle.

  • why would we need to defend other countries from Iran? We are the ones poking a finger in their eye...sheesh

  • DreamAqua - First of all we aren't poking any finger in Irans eyes, this issue comes down to regional security and if Iran develops a nuclear weapon it will spark an arms race in the Middle East. If Iran wants to use nuclear technology peacefully they should have accepted Russia's offer to take the spent uranium fuel, but they rejected don't be nieve they want nukes.

  • If "regional security" were a concern, then you'd be advocating for Israel to comply with international law regarding nuclear weapons. But I don't see anything in your writing to indicate it.

  • Liberater - I don't support any country in the middle east or Iran having nuclear weapons, this includes Israel. But I think Israel would give up it's nuclear weapons with a regional peace agreement that guarentees it's security and longterm survival. It's funny how the arab coutries such as the gulf arab states and egypt see Iran possesing nuclear weapons more of a threat than Israel. Iran has made many threats to use nuclear weapons if it developed them.

  • Yes, we want a Europe free of all kinds of imperialism: a Free France in a Europe of Nations, that is our project inherited from Général de Gaulle!

For once Obama did something right. This system was a despicable insult to Russia and Russian people with whom I have a lot of respect. We French and Europeans need to work with Russia not against it.

  • Free from all kinds of imperialism is a laughable joke!!! France is dependent on Russia for OIL and GAS. THAT blackmail is a form of your so called imperialism. And will France be there when Russia invades Georgia again. This utopian world you like to believe in is a farce. America owes a lot to Poland and the Czechs for their alliance with America, and Obama stabbed them in the back on the 70th anniversary of Russian invasion of Poland! opinion polls particularly in Poland bear that out.

  • Obama was using common sense, idiot! First of all, the US is bankrupt, spread itself too thin with two fruitless wars "against Terror" .

Bush's plans was not daring but totally stupid: he risked opening another front, and he didn't have the money to support this "shield". Most Poles and Czechoslovaks consider the Russian their Slavic bretherin, so the last they want is what their leaders want them to believe: an attack from them.

  • As an American looking out for American interest, like I care what some guy from Mexico thinks about policy between the U.S. Czechs and Poles. Polish newspapers headlines are "stabbed in the back". America shouldn't be throwing allies fighting in Iraq and Afg, that put themselves out on a limb against Russia as a pawn in a chest game. Run over your allies with a bus to appease you antagonist is not a proper American strategy in global affairs!!

  • many of those states you mention simply join or exist because they put someone else in an enemy's picture. Other than that, there's no reason for them being in Nato anymore or even existing.

  • Poland was invaded by Russia and Germany 70 years ago. I agree NATO should not exist. A lot of those nations don't do anything for security, and use NATO as an umbrella. NATO should be replaced by loyal allies like Poland, Czech, Romania, UK, etc. And this isn't over anyway. Obama is going to get hammered at home over this, Putin is talking about more concession, and the U.S. is still a much more powerful nation than Russia to be putting up with any stupid demands!!

  • And the worst of it all... the US used Poland and Czech. as cannon fooder for this missile shield. In case a conflict broke out, the Poles and Czechoslovaks are the real loosers, with the Americans losing credibility , which is the least one could loose.

  • Everyone must just shut up and let all events unfold and let the world's path go how it wants. I am thinking lets have World War 3 and finish off this f**ked up and dyeing world.

F**k missile defences, if we have them then how can we get hit :(

  • Go fuck your self Riki Ellison, if you have a personal interest in Missile Defense put one on your own roof and a nuc. up your ass :/

  • Poland and Czech R. do NOT want a missile system there. I have never spoken to a Pole or Czech who approves of it. Don't believe any "opinion survey" that states otherwise. It is nothing but Neocon propaganda.

  • Oh yeah lets not believe opinion polls lets believe Some guy on youtube.

  • Nobody in Europe wants that crap. It's not just about Poland and Czech R. Germans wants US troops out of Germany, too. It's not a big secret.

But the Nabucco politicians have their own agendas, irrespective of the people's wishes. That's part of the reason for the rise in nationalist movements all over Europe--people want their countries back.

  • In fact, that's also a reason for the nationalist movement in the United States.

  • Libertaer - I wonder if you raised this point when half of Europe was dominated by soviet Russia or is it just the US you are concerened about.

  • The US' presence in Europe since 1944 has always been for the benefit of global, organized capital; not for the benefit of Americans.

  • Global organized capital? This makes no sense.

  • If it makes no sense to you, then you have some research ahead of you. Start with the Marshall Plan, the colossus which put Americans into debt until this very day. Then research how it was funded.

  • Liberater - The Marshall Plan was used to help re-build European countries after a WWII. So I guess you are saying we should not have had the Marshall Plan and it did no good? It was funded on the back of the American taxpayer, but I think it was necessity.

  • it was an organized effort by multinational corporations to funnel money into their pockets. So, no, I don't think it was a necessity.

Nor do I believe that America should have even been in WW2--or WW1 for that matter. Normal trade relations would have been good though.

  • That was FDR's socialist legacy, BTW. I'm sure you know that, but I just want to point out.

  • Ok, now I see the angle you are coming from which makes no sense in my opinion. I guess you would rather have Nazi Germany dominate Europe, well I'm doing to agree to disagree with you. It was in our vital national intrest to enter WWII.

  • You are of course free to disagree, but first let me ask you to read a recent piece by Pat Buchanan. just google: "Did Hitler want War?"

It's easy to find, 'cause it's everywhere on the web. Also, do some quick research the Balfour Declaration. Or see the video on my channel, titled: "This Speech is Banned in Germany."

Then you'll understand the tie-in. But yes, I do believe a Nazi Europe would have been better--but only better in relation to the alternative.

  • I read it, Pat Buchanan is the ultimate antisemit, coming from a person who dosen't think that Israel is in the US national intrests.

  • ANYONE who questions Israel, or the motives of Israelis in America's government, is called an antisemite. That's the rule of hegemony.

By that rule, I must be an even bigger antisemite, since I not only believe Israel is not in America's interests (other than being a normal trade partner) but I also believe that a small minority of pro-Israel supremacists are largely responsible for the carnage of WW2--not entirely, but largely. Again, it traces back to the Balfour Declaration.

  • False history can be dangerous and using the jews as scapegoats is always the norm and not true. I guess you don't think the holocaust actually happened.

  • Firstly, hegemony hasn't produced a true version of history. It never will.

Secondly, I'm not blaming "the Jews." I would say that the ordinary Jews were just as much victims of the supremacist minority among them as the rest of Europe was.

That said, everybody wanted them out--Churchill and Hitler were unified. Interestingly, the British (banking) Empire blocked the seaway for refugees being sent away by the Nazis--years before any alleged mass-exterminations took place.

  • And BTW, my reasoning isn't based on a desire for American racial eugenics that the Nazis allegedly practiced. I'm non-racist, anyway.

Rather, my preference for the Nazis is based on their opposition to the British (banking) Empire which started WW2--the same structure that is now making us all poorer.

  • A huge mistake...

    "Ohhhhhh.....ooooops"

  • Well done, Obama!

  • This guy is a moron. How about we put another of the systems that are in Alaska and California in the Eastern USA. Hmm, why can't we simply do that?

Oh ya, because Bush just wanted to piss of Russia as much as possible. Yep, now I understand.

  • the U.S. must build super tesla weapons &

    more laser aircraft.

  • no it wasn't a mistake.. One of the (few) good things I've seen Obama do...

go build that missile defence shield on your own American soil.. Tensions here in Europe with Russia, is one of the last things we're looking for..

Original idea was to place a defence system on the polish/russian border.. To protect against Iran?!? lol come on...

  • I have a weird idea. How about humans agree to stop killing each other.
