You have to sell the foul - the defender didn't seem interested in getting the call. You can't throw your hands up like you don't want the call and then bitch because the shooter's shot goes in. If he's going to claim that he was trying to foul, then he should be doing everything he can to make sure the shot doesn't go in. After he first "tried" to foul, he just gave up and left Carmelo Anthony alone. You'll never see that call at the end of a game, especially a playoff game.

2nd of all- many scenarios could have happened in the final seconds of the game that could've dictated the winner regardless

3rd of all- there were several questionable calls on both ends of the court, not just against the Mavs
