the latest thing im gona try is to eat 3000 cal a day, but do cardio for an hour or two a day to burn 600 to 1200 cal back of bringing my total cal for the day down under my tdee. if this doesnt work im about ready to give up and just be fat and happy. i look at fat people and feel envious of them. my model like body is like a jewel that needs polishing and guarding everyday. as it slips away from me its very depressing. if i fail to find a solution, ill be 100 pds heavier in a year. lifes over.
@Timpler10 Don't give up on yourself. I used to work out so much but it didn't help me lose weight that much.. instead I felt exhausted and wanting more sugary foods and carbs. A few months ago I started walking for long intervals instead of intense workouts. Being healthy shouldn't feel exhausting, unless you're a workout junkie and can enjoy the pain. I've lost weight steadily from just walking and eating healthily, most important is to keep a healthy mind. Try reading/meditating, etc
@Timpler10 BTW your willpower is !@#()$*ing insane... less than 100 calories for an entire year and half... shit..... it's insane that you lasted that long :D Don't make all your effort go to waste or you'll regret it. I think you should probably switch to like 1800 calories or whatever is good for your weight, but don't go from less than 1000 to 3000.... that's way too much and you'll gain the weight back.
ok. i need help. over the last year and a half, i found lots of motivation. i ate1000 calories or less a day for months on end. never tempted to go off the diet at all. i lost nearly 100 pounds. i was weak. i started working out and bulking up. all of a sudden started craving sweets. started binging, once a week. then once every 3 days then every other day, im slowly gaining the weight back. im scared to death.
i cant let this happen, ive got abs. i feel powerless to stop binging. help.
So as someone who has been doing the Yo-Yo dieting for many years and now my health is suffering. My question is how do you rev up a metabolism when it is slower then a turtle at this point. How do I not only wake it up from what I am sure is a long life nap but to keep it reved up?
@silverstarz76 Great question, there is no one amazing way of stimulating your metabolism. Its all down to the individual. If your serious enough about making some changes free of charge, then get in contact with me through my email. Let me know what you mean by your health is suffering and what your aims and goals are. Give me as much history as possible and I'll get back to you ASAP with a basic starting point. Thanks for great question!
