Just got the same updated ACU version of this system but only difference is its a 5 piece. Mine came with a small and a large compression bag. I was actually able to get everything in the small bag with a little persuasion. I imagine the only down side to this system is the weight when carried altogether. It's not ideal for hiking/backpacking, again when carried altogether, but no prob for car camping. The system is def worth every penny ($135 on ebay). Can't wait to try it out.
@PlatinumClipz I used mine in 30 degree weather and got to hot in the middle of the night using all three together. The other thing to do would be buy a -10 or -20 sleeping bag and just use the bivy to lighten the load. But like you said for $130 range it's bad ass.
So where you warm after testing it in cold weather?
