  • wow.. i'm sitting here a grown man 39 years old and i'm in tears. There's no words to describe her voice. Is this the sign I've be waiting for, the sign that shows there truly is a god?

  • @deepelements Welcome to the club.

  • A great video. The sound is particularly good. How anyone can have anything but praise for this young lady is beyond my comprehension. I wouldn't want to be a being who does not rejoice at the sound of her voice. There must be something missing in such people; something that makes life sadly poorer.

  • Her voice has been described as pure and "bell-like." A bell tends to constellate the divine within the human soul. It signifies the "illumined mind" and "its note is the beautiful sound of Eternity that is heard by the pure mind throughout creation..."

For many, her voice serves as a call to worship. And the fact that a young and innocent child is the messenger, magnifies the power of such a call...

  • Someday, when you read this, Jackie - - KNOW that you have been Loved and Prayed for all these years. Never pass up an oppertunity to give GOD the Glory for the GIFT He has bestoed upon you - and He will always honnor you with His presence

  • My fellow Jackie fans, let's just ignore this pucciniverde person. He/she doesn't know as much as he/she thinks. Jackie's throat and vocal cords are checked about every 6 months, by a specialist, to ensure she's having no problems. And, obviously, up to now, she's having no problems.

  • In the words of my good friend Piers, "that was perfection".

  • I can't find a better singer in human history. Can this really be happening?

  • @ethericplane From my selfish point of view, human history does not bother me at all. Jackie's going to be the last note I hear just before I die. I missed Buddha, Pascal and Nietzsche. I'm lucky to be born right here, right now. Surprisingly, she is happening just in front of my eyes.

  • @wojciechzby My friend, we share the same perception. I realized early on, that Jackie was someone special...beyond singing. Her purpose on this planet will be revealed as time passes. And I believe, the magnitude of her influence on us will far exceed the area of entertainment. Just my perception.

  • @Mrsawyer46 I agree with all of you on Jackie's specialness. wojciechzby, it's the voice I want to hear as I die. ethericplane, I feel the same way. This goes way beyond the ravishing beauty of her singing. How fortunate we all are. I believe in miracles.

  • @ian1856 Then I can only hope that Jackie lives forever. Just in case I already bought her concert tickets in heaven (first row next to Almighty). Thanks for your reply.

  • @Mrsawyer46 Thanks for the reply. Miracles happen (inside of us). Jackie is only a messenger. A divine one though.

  • Was this just done recently?

  • @ashleync29 The concert was on October 15, 2011.

  • where can i find the whole concert to download? i would greatly appreciate it

  • Such a great talent, a beautiful voice and a beautiful girl. you would

think they could get her a better stage setting. I have notice in all

Performances they make it so simple and plain. For such talent like

Jackie's they need to do more. Like QVC it is alway a nice stage to

put a talent like Jackie on.

  • @pucchiniverdi777...I'm positive her family and vocal coach have things well under control. I heard that she had her tonsils removed which also aided her sound a little.

  • Jackie cannot make enough albums for me... I will buy every single one.. Here she is again singing another song to perfection.. and let's not forget.. She is 11...

  • I have her CD, Dream With Me, on my iPod and this song is on that CD. I love her and I love her CD. If you don't have her CD yet, then I highly recommend you buy it.

  • @KaylaSchoolgirl20

I have DWM on my phone and listen to it every day, sometimes multiple times. She never gets old to listen to.

  • kdr65 great post! And by the way, I just listened to "Believe" off Jackie's' new CD, and it's just what I wanted for Christmas. A compliment of her various singing styles styles. My inner child is do-in cartwheels.

  • Absolutely stunning. The little girl knocks it out again.

  • Next, off to rap a "giant dragon" around her little pinkie . . .no p r o b l e m.

  • Let me add also' Im sure the great Composer who was known for being very strct and demanding of how musicians played his music. is looking down with joyous heart at this child's beautiful rendition of his song.

  • There are some other youngsters out their that are considered musical genius's, and they are called savants. The thing is, they all have servere physical disabilitys. I believe Jackie is a savant without any disability whatsoever. How else can you explain her extrodianary ability to emote and remember all these songs in foreign languages without hardly a break in between songs? She is absolutely one in a million. And I couldn't be happier.

  • @rsaba206, the term 'savant' is used, almost exclusively, to define people who have an unusual talent, but are otherwise severely mentally, or physically challenged. When the young person has no mental or physical challenges, the term used to describe the talented, genius child is 'prodigy'. Jackie is definitely a genius, but I believe she may also have 'perfect pitch', or near-perfect at any rate, as well. Best regards.

  • @annacrome I agree with you one hundred percent. I was just comparing her talent to savants. A prodigy she is, without a doubt.

  • Is it my imagination, or has Jackie's voice become richer and more mature in just the last few months. I think it has. Amazing!

  • @Mrsawyer46 It has... I've been 'monitoring' (and of course enjoying) her vids and boy, oh boy... Jackie is getting better and BETTER! <:) I think this must be the first vid where I see her drink water before she gets to her next number :)

  • @Mrsawyer46 I am not amazed. Jackie is genetically coded to expand. Her voice grows exponentially (so does her fame). Some day soon she will go through the roof of Sistine Chapel. Right after that she will reward us with her beautiful smile (guys, 'twas nothing, didn't mean to scare you, keep dreaming).

  • I just wish the Evancho's would video tape all her concert's and sell the DVD's for all of us who can't attend all of Jackie's concert's. They would make a fortune! I'll bet the people who attend these events would buy them, just to remember the experiance of being their. Like the rest of us fan's, I'm hoping to see more of this concert. PLEASE!

  • @rsaba206 Your point well taken! Those of us who are old enough, and I am one, can remember when Johnny Carson was searching for early episodes of 'The Tonight Show'.Many of them were never saved, including the very first show.If you had a copy it was worth a cool million dollars. But no one did.

Someone at 'Team Evancho' should be saving everything. They would be valuable now and in the future they could be priceless.

  • seeing her live was truly amazing, her voice is brilliant! god bless her.

  • Every single one of her songs is solid entertainment (understatment). Even if you go back and include all of her You Tube videos; PTAD, they're all good (understatement). Jackie even makes it hard; if not impossible, to pick a favorite, or a top five . . .pick your number. First it's this one, than it's that one . . . and so on.

     I'm a fan. She's fantastic! (understatement, understatement)

  • @Mylostsurf When I listen to her I run out of words, too. I know what you feel. "And these words, this water, what can they do, what can they, my prince". Jackie is so far above any definition.

  • @Mylostsurf I completely agree with you!

  • Truly amazing!! She was born to sing.. Gifted!!

  • Thumbs up... if you were frightened that the conductor was going to accidentally knock Jackie upside her head!

  • @NateAlex10 depth perception.

  • I had the pleasure of being at this concert in Pittsburgh. I can say without a doubt that Jackie is absolutely a must see! She is so gifted, and gracious. She just touches your heart!

  • Thank you Jackie and Family - Jackie is making musical World History that will bless the human race for generations to come, if the Lord tarries. I am so thankful that I could witness this beautiful moment in time/space and in real time, interact with others who feel just as blessed to experience the phenomenal Jackie Evancho as I.

Jackie is, without doubt, the Songbird of the Ages.

  • Simply MORE amazing! I've replaced all my oldie CD's in my car with Jackie, driving's now a dream....

  • @philipclock Me, too. I wonder how much time will it take to fill up my 6-CDs changer. Strangely, I noticed a big improvement of millage. See? Angels give you cash back. The more you give the more you get. So, never enough of Jackie.

  • A very strong voice, particularly in 1:10 - a great sound as the best opera singers in the world.

  • I do not understand how it is possible for someone this young to sing at this level. It's hard to imagine where she will be in 10 years. Phenomenon... is the only word I can think of and even that dosen't seem strong enough.

  • When Jackie performs crying is a must. I can't cry. Felt stupid this Sunday, my family was watching: daddy are you deaf or something? No, just thinking of how to pay for 6 two way Chicago-Pittsburgh tickets, dinner for 6, one night at Pittsburgh Fairmont Hotel for 6, etc. etc. (I was lucky my mother in law was watching my dogs, horses and stuff). Jackie, dear, you owe me. Anyway, 'twas worth it. We all love you forever anyway. See you in New York next month.

  • @wojciechzby too funny :)

  • She is performing much better

  • It was on WPXI Pittsburgh news station.

  • If someone bootlegged this. Good for you. I was there, great memory.I only worry if this was taped privately it may be taken off soon by her family.lets hope not
