In RiD the Transector, the Emissary is not the main robot, Cerebros is. In the original headmasters, the Transector is what Fortress uses mainly.

@Amoraklin2 And it was. Just in my opinion, RID was one of the worst TF shows ever to come out. But in fact, when it comes to Transformers, we've seen some hits and we've seen some misses in the past. Some shows were okay, others were not so good.

@dasstu Yes. He's a redeco of G1 Fortress Maximus. Because of the increasing order of magnitude of the component robots forming each others heads, the full Fortress Maximus figure is approximately 2 feet tall.

Actually, correction, this is Brave Maximus...thus I meant, Grand Maximus from TF: Masterforce. Funny enough, this is also most likely the cheapest version toywise as it did not have much of the accessories that came with Fortress Maximus, let alone Grand Maximus.

Despite that I mostly dislike R.I.D for it's idiotic humor, I will admit that this show was the only show that nearly properly showed Fortress Maximus his size. He was supposed to be huge, bigger then Metroplex even though both incarnations in the G1 series (Fortress Maximus in Season 4 finale and TF: Headmasters and Brave Max in TF: Masterforce) were no bigger then Metroplex, if not even smaller....then again, height has always been an inconsistency in the series.

...Why does this "Scourge" fellow have the original G1 shaped Optimus Prime head, and the Optimus Prime in this serie not??? Did they switch head/body? this optimus looks like a herp a derp to me, even though the animation is beter compared to the 80's, it still seems...off

@polyquaternium7 Optimus Prime is an all-new design. He was also originally designed, in the source Japanese version, as "Fire Convoy" - a new Convoy character, rather than being an "Optimus Prime". He was turned into "Optimus Prime" in the dub, since people recognize him. On the other hand, Scourge is a redeco of the 5 year old G2 Laser Optimus Prime toy. In-fiction, Scourge resembles Optimus Prime because of the circumstances surrounding his protoform scan.

I read on the TF wiki that every villain in the toy-line except Megatron is a redeco, seems kinda like the whole toy-line was mostly just a placeholder before Armada came around.

@dragonstormx Every villain in the _show_. There were a couple of non-show 'Con toys that were not redecos. Although I think most of those were unreleased hold-overs from previous lines: Bruticus and Megatron Megabolt.

I remember reading various possible reasons that they likely won't reissue it again, though, some might have had to do with the space that modern toy stores give to a single toyline, maybe? I suppose that doesn't rule out some sort of online order reissue.
