Not as much as you'd think, actually. Never having lived in America, I can't compare numbers, but I can honestly say we still pay around the same price for products, most houses have at least two cars in the driveway and generally speaking I never find myself talking to Americans and thinking "Holy shit, you can afford THAT?" The same generally goes for most countries with socialized health care systems. Everyone pays for healthcare. We just pay in taxes what you pay in bills. But less of it.
