Ok I just watched this short clip and I didn't know there was a documentary coming out?? Could someone Please tell me more about it, pm me or something!!! Thanks
It's called In Search of Paradise, it was just released in major city theaters in the US but is already available on dvd overseas. If you buy the 3 Bats Live dvd from an overseas vendor, it has the documentary as a bonus disc. (this is what I did, and both discs are phenomenal!!)
This probably won't help much unless you live in upstate New York, but on Saturday, May 17, The Bearsville Theater, abbout 2 miles outside of Woodstock, NY is screening the film, followed by a concert by Kasim Sulton, Meat Loaf's bass player and musical director.
If you're in the area, it doesn't get better than this!
How hysterical is this. Meat Loaf driving and eating an apple. His voice sounds incredible on the live bit. Will there be a premiere on the west coast? Can't wait to see more.
Wow, this really shows more of a side of Meat, that I thought I knew in the past. He really is an interesting character...especially these days. If this movie goes well, I would like to see some footage and commentaries on his early years of the seventies... did anyone know he used to chuck Mic stands at guitarists during the shows!! Real bad temper that guy...
HILARIOUS

Every Meat Loaf fan has to see this doc. In Search of Paradise. I saw it in Montreal last summer and now I know why he is exausted after a concert.

I liked the behind the scenes of the concert footage. And I agree w/ him about people using phones while driving.
