@Moi12388 We have actually changed the project a lot since we created this trailer. Some of the actors fell through and we wanted to change the plot a little bit so we started over. We should have something by the end of the summer though!

@rjconnolly64 The setting and context for this film is in America and during the time of Voldemort's first rise. We wanted to create a story in the same universe of Harry Potter, but with no direct relation to any of the characters in the books.

What camera did you use, and what filter (if any)?

We use a Cannon HV20, with no filters (Well, a UV filter, but that doesn't really count). We do a significant amount of color correction using Apple Color, and After Effects.

@Marenay We just use Adobe After Effects for everything...not much to tell, just play around with it! Type Andrew Kramer into Google, and there are tons of amazing free tutorials about how to use the program. Cheers!

How long do you intend the full movie to be and when do you intend to release it?

The full movie will be between 20-30 minutes, and we are shooting for Fall of 2010 for the release. Both of us at Regression Studios work and go to college, so unfortunately we don't get to work on it as much as we would prefer to.

We used a Canon HV20. It's a small camera, but very powerful. It shoots in 1080i, and 30fps, and then we move everything over to 24p framerate, and 1080p resolution using Compressor.

Currently, the HV40 is the newest model of the camera, and it runs under $900 on Amazon.

Yup, mostly particular but with turbulent displacement applied to it. We also composited some stock explosions to try and make them more realistic.

Also, we actually did not use pro scores (but we wish we had it :P) we used some E.S. Posthumous instead.
