the main thing i notice is how young many of them are. just kids.

regarding this version of solovi, from about 3:40 to the end they sing their hearts out and it is truly powerful and dramatic. the singers look like vets and this gives it 100 times more power. these guys lived that song and they are lucky to be there to sing and they know it. don't you think your lost friends and family would be in your mind as you sang? so intense.

My heart goes out to the ordinary Russian people who fought just like the ordinary American people. The Red Army Choir and musicians can play with so much feeling that you can almost experience it for yourself as many of them were probably WWII veterans.
