Ferrets bite HARD, and that is probably why the cat cried out at the end, because those little buggers have no restraint when they chomp on you. Ferret skin is super durable, so they bite each other a lot harder then you'd think.

If it was submissive it ears schould have tilited backwards, he tilted them forward the whole video. If you look at the tail, its just curious(light back and forth whips are signs of that). If its too much for the kitten/cat it would just leave, like in the end.

@J33pMan Agreed! I had a ferret, and I raised a cat with her. They would play so hard for just ages! It was hysterical. Sometimes they would be quite rough. I would say "Hey! Are you two fighting?" They'd freeze in mid-wrestle and just stare at me like "What are you on about?" Then just go at it again. My cat used to tug at my ferret's scruff, and the ferret wound turn around and grab her where her back leg met her tummy, that loose skin. Around they would go! Always supervised, tho.

I had 3 grown cats when I got a ferret all 5 plus years old. I was very concerned about how my cats would react to the ferret. They were much larger and after all it could be 3 against 1. One of my cats the smallest one loves to look at him when he's in his cage. One cat the largest can been seen either chasing the ferret or most likely being chased by the ferret. The 3rd cat swats at the ferret when the ferret gets nearby. I have never seen any animal try to seriously injure one of the others.
