i have always thought it was james' fault, but who knows... to me is the opposite story, cliff was pure creativity and talent, and the band knew it. he took an important part in the albums, shows, everything. jason was underestimated and suffered the consequences of a sad story. im glad that he left, now he seems to be great and metallica is joining they career as they had return to early years.

This song "The Haunting" was never recorded in a studio, unfortunately. I do have it on a rehearsal tape from one of their practices. You should pick up the re-release of 'Doomsday for the Deceiver.' It comes with a bonus DVD of a live gig that has a number of unreleased songs. Also, Mike Gilbert does a killer guitar solo at this show.

It was recorded on broadcast 3/4 live switch using a remote truck with two channels of audio and directed by Stan Rosenfeld and using a remote control boom so it isn't a home video contrary to popular opinion. We used Ikagami 730 a camera's just to keep it open and yes it was shot in 1985
