Hi Christian, yes Bjorn has said this song would have been #1 if it had been released a year earlier. By the time it was released their popularity was in semi decline. Hi Marie - yes this is absolutely fantastic with the audience joining in so enthustiastically. Its one of the best performances I've seen from anyone - there would be no chance of anything like this today. This song is very uplifting when you're feeling down like Marielle has been with the floods that hit Manila. You play this and it will raise your spirits straight away, because Abba songs help you fight back from being under attack!

Yes it would be impossible to have a wonderful performance like this today, with the audience joining in so enthusiatically to a great singalong song by a great group. Abba put as much emphasis into their visual performances as they did to everything else they did - it had to be as good as they could possibly get it for their fans!

Yes you couldn't help but be struck by some of those pictures showing how quickly it had all happened Elin. Marielle thought they were safe where they lived, but the flood waters still reached them unfortunately.

These floods seem to strike anywhere more frequently and with greater devastation each year Shay. The balance of nature is what's under attack. We even had floods here for a month in 2007 when the River Severn plane spread at least 10 miles, but it was not as fast as this has happened in Manila.

Yes the longer they went on, the more musically intricate and clever their songs became. Nobody else produced stage managed entertaining performances like Abba did for their songs - the audience can't help joining in!

Thanks for bringing this to everyones attention John-sadly I did not have Mariellas address when I heard of this so thought the best thing to do was make an online donation to Oxfam-I believe some other young Abba community members come from the same area as well..........we really are lucky in the UK that this sort of thing is very rare and my thoughts go out to all those affected

All donations to that disaster area would be very welcome Bill, so well done to you! I saw the flood waters in Manila on tv looked very deep and fast with things being swept away, and knew that Marielle lived there so checked out if she was ok. Fortunately she's survived, but not without major loss. Doing this video was the quickest and widest way I could think of to help her. We did have huge floods in Gloucestershire in July & August 2007, I thought it was impossible - but it happened!

Thanks for that Jose, yes I'm sure Marielle will bounce back from this disaster in time with our help and encouragement. Her self confidence here for someone so young has amazed me! She did have a good Abba collection, but life itself is always more important as possessions can always be rebuilt Yep they did do a song called Move On - that one is still on my 'to do' list!.

Thanks for doing that Dallas, and many thanks for sharing this video onwards. I saw the pictiures on tv, the river was swelled by 2 dams that burst and was like a torrent sweeping everything in its path away. The water was head high in the streets. Marielle does know that we will help her, so that will give her some comfort. She may be the longest continuous Abba supporter here, having joined on Jan 1 2007! I'll be praying that things work out alright, this week will be hardest to get through.
