I think hes retired, but in theory he will always remain an Apple employee, and If I'm not mistaken hes employee #1, Steve Jobs is employee #0, due to a dispute with investors over who was the first employee. Woz now remains as an adviser.

Yes, the video is taken in front of the stage. After the keynote, Steve jumps down on the floor to meet some old friends, Apple execs and other VIP's. I was just a "normal" visitor, but I managed to get there when everyone else was leaving for the show floors. Doesn't seem like very good security when anyone can get as close as this to Steve Jobs.

jobs and gates worked together before apple or microsoft we're established.. ibm was just starting and they went their separate ways, jobs came out w/ apple and gates reverse engineered jobs' work to make windows.

IBM has been around since before Jobs and Gates were born! Jobs and Gates never worked together as co-workers, though Jobs hired Gates' to create a software product called Apple Write. Jobs convinced Gates to show him the source code for the Apple operating system in order to better facilitate integration of that software. That's how Gates got the code. He didn't reverse engineer anything.

Right, Bill Gates invented Apple, now Steve Jobs runs the company. Why did Bill leave Apple to start working at Microsoft, only to come to 2007 Macworld and socialize in the crowd? Are you sure about that? I mean, I saw the videos where he was demonstrating the new iPhone (an amazing new all in one device!). He was wearing his trademark jeans and black turtle neck. The garment is named such b/c of the extended length of the neck, much like that of a turtle! A black turtle, in this case!

Well, I don't know about that... but more info on turtle necks: the long neck fabric keeps the wearer's neck warmer than without, and it is *THOUGHT*, in some social circles, that the wearers of necks do so out of some morbid, sick, subconscious desire to skin and WEAR a turtle. It is PROBABLE that wearers also had to be socially-pressured to stop wearing a hard shell on their back. They were just taking the trend much too far in the name of fashion and had to be stopped, for turtle's sake!

This is a little bizzare to watch, the post-performance meet and great, kind of takes some of the magic away from the persona. What I'm interested in is who the old man early on is, the one Steve asks if they know where Woz is. I'm guessing the guy (who somewhat obviously wanted to get away) was important at least enough for a photo op. Again, interesting video, little banal.
