i bought a slash...best damn thing period.more abuse than anything else and it ate it up.i bought a wheely king, wich is great but its pretty cheap.i will be buying a wraith but not relying on axial.soon as it comes in,stainless everything.driveshafts, spacers, knuckles, ladder bars, the works.you gotta build it tough and it will be great.rtr, they are cheap and all plastic.great to crawl slow, but no good for serious beating or mudding.to much cheap plastic.
@trippedonamidget Pretty soon I will be making a new vid of my Wraiths transformation from Crap to Nice RC. I dropped about $150 in it and still not done. Just waiting for my headlocks and my tires to arrive.
first thing you do when you get an rtr. check every screw, every nut, and just everything. like you said early in your vid your striped your spur. Im guessing due to the pinion and spur not being meshed right. well it only takes a second to check and see. you may say ohh its axials fault that they didnt mesh it right, but its really not.
@treyhalder THats all fine and dandy but you should not have to crack open the gearbox to check to see if the gears are set correctly. Heck I have purchased tons of RTR's and never had any issues like that. Not to mention to take this Wraith apart you have to damn near completely disassemble it. You might as well just buy a kit.
well mate, good on you for speaking up about poor service and a poor quality product at a high price point. You should listen Axial - this is costing you business.
I was about to drop coin on a Wraith, now I'm looking at a Summit instead. I'll go through the same process, research and research some more before dropping coin on that. Thanks iceman. Hope you have joy yet.
I have almost completely transformed my Wraith. I am waiting on some new wheels and tires. Once those come in I will post a vid of what it looks like now.
Well I finally gave up and I just dropped like another $150 or so into the Wraith. I never got any replacement part in the mail from Axial. I did though get a call from Scott last week. As he was the first time he was a nice guy. But unfortunately it was a bit to late for me. Especially since it has been at least 3 - 4 weeks waiting for a part from them. I won't be buying anymore Axial stuff ever again. I will be posting an updated vid of my upgrades to make it more sturdy and competitive.
when i got the honcho i pulled it out the box and plued a batt in and played with it for almost 12 hours straight and would have went longger but my wife got gelouse and threaten to brake it if i didnt put it up not 1 problem i go water mub bogging every day with the honcho if you get mud in the motor it will lock up and you cand dip it if fresh water to rinse the motor and get right back at it but i dont know about the wraith mine has been brock to mutch..
my wraith was same way grear mesh was way to close i hit the triger and errrrrr sound so i fixed that but its still a little loud.then i take it out side start driven and the front end fell apart the screws was striped and it was missing the slide spacers that goes in front stearing nuckels...so i fixed that then the scews i payed to replace was to agesive so the font end still locks up every time i drive i have had it for 2 weeks and put maybe 2 hours on the truck....
you should not have to check the the gear mesh or anything else for that matter.it should be done right when it when it was assembled from the company.i wont buy axial anymore i have had enough of there shit..ps they keep keep there EXO im not interested..
Yo Ice , I stick to the same RC Companies - Team Associate , Traxxas , Ofna , Kyosho , Losi and HPI - Haven't had no problems with either one of those as far as their customer service .

If you didn't like axial don't get any thing from powerhobby ever. Their customer service sucks

Axial is prone to make bad RTR cars. However, Axial is superb with their Kit cars.

@cokc23p36 I learned my lesson. From now on I am only dealing with the major brands and am going to stick to what I know.
