The thing is these Americans feel this because they live in a compound - its not the same. Try living in the normal Saudi society and they're pretty much guaranteed to get treated like crap. The few Saudis that do work on the compound are there completely by choice that don't mind working with westerners.

Yea all it's nice and great because they're living in a Compound!! So they live as if they were in the US for the most part! Now it'd be interesting if they lived in regular neighbourhoods in the REAL Saudi, and then see how much they would like that and what they'll have to say about it. Venturing off the compound once in a while is like being a tourist, not living the life of women opression.
I can't understand why they are living in a compound. Is that like one of those compounds that the Americans live in in Australia or the UK? Or is it like the American compounds in France, Japan or Italy? If anyone here has videos of the compounds they have in those countries for foreign workers please post it. It would be wonderful to compare the compounds and talk about why compounds for civilians are even necessary.
