Why do a lot of people have something against students that went to Ivy League schools? They worked hard to get there, and all people do is figure out ways to say something negative about them.
I am working for GMAT Verbal at downtown Chicago for one-on-one tutoring. Please contact me at 312-560-1688 right the way. Donation would be appreciated.
This is awesome. I was an English major and always appreciate someone who is attempting to teach elements of rich writing. Good writing is a talent that may be lost if we're not careful.
Not only does this video give a clear definition of the idea of tone, it helps to build critical thinking skills. Someone who understands the idea of tone can better evaluate sources of information in the media.
I am in an Intro English Major course currently, and we focus on things like tone. This video did an even better job of thoroughly explaining tone than my own professor did.
I think this is a great idea/tool that Knewton has come up with to help students prepare for the GMAT. Some people learn better when a subject matter is presented to them by a teacher, rather than just reading it. And it's definitely cheaper than hiring a tutor!

"Ivy league people went to school to be individually successful. Instead, they wound up dependent on their credentials and nothing else. "
Is this course really any good?
Why don't these people have real jobs?
Can't you just sell a cheat sheet for 1$?
