what to say? One of the most outstanding movies of all time! I could watch this movie over and over again and still not tired of it! 20/10 Just Awesome! If you nt watched this movie you can see it where I did: MOVIEPRINCESS[DOTT]com
Ahhh, this movie looks great! I missed the original princess movies, and this one is pretty cool. New Orleans, what a great place for a movie. It's a one of a kind place, can't wait to see this movie. Thanks for posting this vid. :)
Great fairytale stories are back.. Great! Times like these I wish I had kids...lol..and its about time..Disney finally ..I said..finally had a cartoon starring someone of the black race.. it took them too long if you ask me.. but aleast they did it..gosh.. Peopleeeeeee!
i am so bloody excited for this!! i practically grew up with disney during the '90s. And i js luv all off disney's traditional 2D stuff. And it looks like its coming across really good...(^_^)!
THANK GOD TRADITIONAL ANIMATION IS BACK. im 16 and a 90s child so i grew up watching all of disney's greatest animations and its about time they brought it back! CGI is great, but we need to get back to the basics, which i think is the most beautiful and simple of all.
i totally and completely agree with you im 15 so i grew up with them as well. Basic amination just gives an certain feeling to it. and i can;t wait for this movie!! Tiana is soo BEAUTIFUL and her voice is just lovely!!! XDD
This seems like a great movie...but what steams me is the fact that they are going to allow this one AFTER the forced disney to take 'Song of the South' down. That movie had a historical base, and those were all storys that the slaves told around the fire!! Plus...ya GOTTA love uncle Remus, and brer rabbit XD
Disney, after yeard you've heard our calls. These hand-drawn films are the kinds that they should make more often. Not that garbage Disney Channel trash like Jonas Brothers 3d Concert, High School Musical 3, Hannah Montana the Movie, etc.
Hey don't completly diss the Dreamworks animation. While I do admit a lot of the Disney channel stuff could do better. However some of their stuff is still good in my book Kim Possible, Recess, Filmore, thats so Raven, Lizzie McGurie (YES I SAI IT) And most of the stuff on Toon Disney. I am glad they are bringing back the traditional animation style. Even though I'm 21..and a guy I'll probably see this.......uh for the support of good Disney animation.
Seriously, the new stuff disney makes, just isn't what I'd really show my kids. It's the old stuff, or stuff based on the old things. Even Enchanted was awesome. But not JB, HM, or HSM. No, disney, I think, has more potential, or at least should have better potential.
So Tiana's a princess? How can you have a princess in America? There's no monarchy. I think Disney is a little preoccupied with the term princess. For starters half of characters they call princesses are not princesses at all. Bell, Pocahontas, Cinderella, Mulan, and Alice were all commoners. So why this need to have a princess? I don't get it.
Bell and Cindarella married into royalty, and Pocahantas's status is that of a princess. Mulan and Alice are said to have princess like qualities.... well Alice not so much.
Actually 'disney princess' is just a nickname for the lead females of disneys fairytale movies. Some people just call them disney girls if you'd prefer that.
The term "Princess" in modern times now usually is associated with a girl (usually) that is a representative of her people. Usually archetypally good.
All the excitement around a "Black Princess" is because black people finally have a representative of their culture. I think it's fitting since "African Americans" are exclusively American. Their culture really isn't based any where else and they usually have no connection to a tribe specifically in Africa.
It's more so along the lines of...controversy. She wasn't intended to be a princess at first (America or not), but people got pissy because she was chambermaid. Lord forbid. I mean...Cinderella was enough...*rolls eyes*
Either way, I love Disney and it looks cute. Black princess or not. People just need to stop thinking someone is out to get them with offensive things and just let creators do their thing. Sheesh.
Hmmm, i never seen this before..

Thank you God something which isn't CGI. Sure, CGI can look beautiful, but we all need something more...we just need to get to basics.

You CAN have a princess in America - all they have to do is marry a prince, right?
Grace Kelly, anyone?

Pocahontas was she was the chiefs daughter
lprox87 3 years ago
she was supposed to be a chambermaid, but some people criticized disney for that, so disney had to change it.
