I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE ENTIRE EPISODE. CAROLE COOK, VICKY LAWRENCE, AND DEBBIE REYNOLDS WERE ALL FEATURED IN THIS EPISODE, AND I SAW IT BACK IN 1995. THAT (1:40) STUFF IS REALLY FUNNY (2:08) - THEY SURE KNEW HOW TO MAKE CORNY SHOWS BACK THEN... WHAT A GREAT WAY TO PASS A BORING SUNDAY AFTERNOON.
i was looking forward to hearing them do an impression of judy garland, because i'm a huge fan of hers, but then she said "auntie em" a million times, making it so obvious that she didn't have to be good for you to know who she was. :[
I never thought of DR as an imitator. DR did a bad Liberace and Merman, an OK Carmen Miranda, and a good Hepburn and a better Bette Davis than MM. MM did a great Dinah Shore, Lily Tomlin, Butterfly McQueen, but mediocre Bette Davis and Judy Garland. Garland referring to Charro, how odd! I think DR never heard the early Merman.
Lauren Tewes was coked up here.
