I like the idea of adding an elevator to the home. When we get old, sometimes carrying heavy things up and down stairs gets to be something we can't handle any more. They are also great for if someone in the family ends up having to use a wheelchair.

1 Are people too lazy they can not walk up stairs?

2) It goes slow (leveling speed)

@mrocket555 I know. For that amount of money you wanted to get to a floor in seconds. You almost want that elevator to zoom up the stairs.

@mrocket555 There are other reasons some people might want one

1. Moving furniture (as long as it fits in the elevator, if you want to do that, you'd want a larger elevator)

2. If someone in the family is handicapped it would be very helpful to have one instead of having to move to a new house- putting an elevator in would probably be about 40K to 50K depending on how many floors and the size of the elevator, and what modifications are needed

@mrocket555 As for the speed, yes it could be quicker but then it would probably be more expensive, not to mention electrical costs, and maintenance
