also it's in a bag in a big loose wrap and you just cut one part of it and you leave it in the bag and take a piece as you need it. it doesn't come waxed (that i know of) you need to pull it through some bees wax and then iron it between two pieces of paper to get the extra wax out.

waxed tailor's thread. it comes precut. you wax and iron it.
