The ECB and the Fed recently did a $1 Trillion "currency swap", which is a euphemism for printing money. That gives Europe $1 Trillion to bail itself out for a year, or longer if they decide to leverage it 10 to 1 using fractional reserve lending.

It's more of the same non-fix, can-kicking money printing, but it'll keep the system sideways for awhile longer. Meanwhile inflation will drive gold and other commodities further up....
