Seems like a very nice movie... But hey Disney, when will you get that what we, true fans, really love and miss is hand drawn animated films like Beauty and the Beast? This is looks more like a movie from Dreamworks, and don't get me wrong, they're great, but this is... sort of "their" style. It's not that Disney can't make movies like that, but I truly believe that what real Disney fans had in mind when they heard that Disney was making an Rapunzel movie, is different from what we see here.

Disappointed. When they originally set out to make Rapunzel, it was actually called RAPUNZEL and centered around the fairytale story. It was to be hand drawn ENTIRELY with music and yet still have a hero BOYS could identify with. This, looks pathetic. A mix of CGI and hand that had potential but not with a classic fairytale. The "Prince" looks like a real tool and hardly the identifiable character they were going for... not to mention who's bright idea was it to cast Mandy Moore as Rapunzel? Ugh

I would love to be able to use hand drawn animation for feature length movies but sadly the demographic is changing and more people care about visual effects rather than the pure effort put into a drawn movie, or the feelings the truly gifted animators help you feel by each gesture or frown. A great example is the Beast in B&tB. Glenn did an amazing job with him and it's a shame it won't be seen again.

I was so pumped about this when I found out about it last year, but everything I loved about it when it was on the drawing board (or should I say, CGI board, because apparently Disney can't use real artists anymore) they changed! And who thought "Tangled" was better than "Rapunzel"? Really Disney, tell your marketing experts to stop looking so desperate. Oh well, at least The Princess and the Frog gave us a glimmer at the musical and artistic legend that Disney used to be.

IDK I have mixed feelings about this. 1st of all this reminds me too much of Shrek. It looks like the same annoying comedy that all the other 3-D cartoons have. On the other hand the backgrounds are absolutely gorgeous. Rapunzel and Flynn are actually good looking for 3-D characters (not counting Fiona in human form who was pretty). Flynn's gonna be quite a character. The animation on them is kind of nice. Where's the villan? Where's the songs? Maybe this trailer is just showing the comedy.

What was the point of princess and frog if their going to go back to CGI. I taught that at last they were going back to hand drawn and this is what they show us! Disney heres a little advise, stick to your strong points (which is hand drawn in case u dont know) and don't but something Walt said at the end of a crap film (Meet the Robinson's). @MrSnowBlack666 well the whole reason they stopped with the tradtional drawing was because it cost too much money, traditional style isnt really popular anymore its extremely rare. this and the princess and the frog were the hopes that if it sold well, they could go back to that. they already have two other traditional style movies their planning. they just need the current movies to sell in order to pay for it. its not all you think. ^^ they are trying to return to it

The storyline and all doesn't sound terrible, but the animation bothers me. If I didn't know any better, I would say this was a Dreamworks movie. Not only that, but I'm really getting sick of CGI movies (and even CGI shows) very quickly. It's to the point where it's not cool-looking or cutting-edge, but repetitive and unoriginal.
