Are there complete videos of this the series timeline I tried to find them but they are incomplete even tried to make one myself for my own viewing but couldn't find them to make for viewing know if there are any? Well, that and we had no business interfering in a civil war, like you said in your reply. It's better to fight a singular threat big enough so that everyone can put their efforts into a single direction. That's what the first two World Wars were about. We had one single enemy...well technically three but they combined into one single purpose and that made them easier to beat.
@ryumancer The Vietnam War was against one large enemy the Viet Cong fought in small cells but they where one cohesive army led by Ho Chi Mihn. In WWII we had two enemies and the wars fought against them where some of the bloodiest casualty heaviest struggles in the history of the world. The US barely fought in WWI joining a war that had become so drawn out that the only thing that ended it was that Germany and Austro-Hungary realised that the war could not be won if the US joined.

Secondly if the dark side was more powerful then why are the sith always losing despite often having superior numbers? I will grant that in some ways Sith are cooler and they tend to have more tricks up their sleeve with those disciplines that you mention but that's the main advantage.
