I'd like to know what the doctor specifically prescribes for post-op pain? I've had some "bone-shaping/planing" done by a Periodontist, post-op it hurt a lot, it was a Deep constant moderate to severe Ache, and all he would give me was a prescription for motrin 800 mg.....he hurt me a lot, I'd had percocet and codeine after a hernia operation, and that helped a lot, I don't know why this doctor wouldn't prescribe anything stronger....I NEVER went back to him

The dentist performing the implants also filmed this video at the same time, hence the horrid procedure. Other YouTube videos of the same procedure are done MUCH more carefully. This looks like a bunch of guys just got together and said "hey let's learn how to do this". If I ever get this done, I sure hope I can sleep that well.

thats some pretty fucked up assistance right there. theyre not using any dental mirror or somthing like a retractor. No way the implantologist is getting an optimal vieuw, particularly while stitching!

Thanks, recovery went great except for the 2nd and 3rd days. When i awoke, It hurt sooooo bad. Take your meds before the pain sets on. I wish I'd have set the alarm clock in the middle of the night so as not to have felt that! Not trying to worry you but, take those pain killers before you need them ;0) I hope your recovery goes great. It was very much worth it for me to have this done. I'm very happy.

WOW...I just had 2 implants put in 3 days ago. If I'd have seen this vid...I probably would have chickened out and kept the partial i had~! But, when i'm all done recovering, and have the new crowns put on, I'll be very happy. Right now It still hurts but, this vid makes it look a lot more painful than it is.
