Can someone please describe to me the objective of Greco-oman wrestling? I've only just started wrestling in high school, so is the objective to achieve a pin or throw?

@TheMillironEffect Same rules apply as the freestyle you're doing, but Greco Roman wrestlers can't attack below the waist. A single leg would be illegal in Greco, so you end up doing suplexes, gut wrenches, and other throws. Same point scoring and a pin would end the match. Shame this isn't more widely practiced in high schools. I was about 6'3" in HS and got my ass handed to me in freestyle. Always lost to leg attacks.
