@sizeofbullets While the first one isn't the best, you should really check out the ones that come after this. The makeup gets better, his voice gets rougher, the mannerisms become almost identical to heath ledgers, and the script will slowly engage you. Not to mention that at some point you get the feeling that there's more going on than just the Joker's obsession with Dr. Quinzel, a fact that becomes known on the first episode of "season two."

Really cool video. The only thing that annoyed me was the dialogue from harley quinn. I know its just for fun and all, but the psychiatrist would know all of the possible reasons he was admitted to the hospital just by reading his chart. I worked in a psych hospital and talked to many people that sometimes would say outrageous things and you could just look at the chart to see why they were there.

@darkangel276 I highly doubt that they are trying to do BETTER than Ledger in TDK. I doubt they are even trying to match him that's not what this is for. Movies and a youtube series are very different things. If someone else was doing Legder's Joker and it was in a movie not connected to Nolan's Batman trilogy, yeah that would be something to get mad at. But this is supposed to be within that same universe, and it isn't like it is on the big screen either.

@dandevrell Well they weren't really TRYING to replicate Heath, they respect his final work and don't want to imitate it. the Creators have openly stated that they did the Joker in a different direction, while at the same time, basing it off of all the well known Jokers INCLUDING Heath's. So yeah, it's not exact, but as he says in here, Nobody's Perfect.

The make-up and costume are very good. The voice here is passable, but good enough. I've heard that the later videos improve both, so when I reach them, I'll re-examine my opinion. The dialogue and acting are also good. Like how Harlequin appears here.

No, I like it as is... It's The Joker, not Heath Ledger's Joker. Ok, His image and mannerisms are based on Heath Ledger's interpretation, but I think it's a perfectly good characterization just as it is. If you want to get picky about the voice, then really it should be done like Mark Hammil's Joker. Im thoroughly enjoying this series.
