better check on your TV coz mostly games now are 1080p resolution which requires you to have an LCD TV with 1080p, attach a cord named HDMI from your console to your LCD TV with a res. of 1080p. The socket can be located at the back of your TV

yo i got my ps3 today with ba 2k9, but i have a crappy standard old tv. The graphics look liek ps2 graphics :S i was expecting wayyyyy better since its ps3..? do u think if i get an HDMI cable and a better TV it will look a lot better? cuz right now the graphics look worse than xbox 360 graphics ? :S

No it is PS3. It looks kinda crappy because Blue-ray is not really made for standard TV's. The technoloy in Blue-ray is way to much advanced for standard tv's.
