If you are ever looking to sell one of your Crooks. Let me take one of them off your hands. I have been watching your videos for a few years now and have fell in love with them. I am looking to buy one sooner then later but i dont need one brand new. I could play a used one. Let me know
I owned a crook and I'm sorry I sold it. Did you order a different size neck compared to your previous crook? you said in this video that the neck on this guitar is slim, I found mine a bit to chunky for my hands, I had ordered the same specs as Brad Paisley's.
I bought this one used, so it came with the preferences of the previous - or at least original - owner. I am still sorry I sold this guitar, though :)
Doesn't look like they've gone too overboard with the electrics in this guitar. I remember despairing at two or three modified telecaster I saw in a shop in London... How they heck they were being sold... They were basically tele's with whole a whole new set of controls added, for a seymour duncan little '59 pickup that had been added. Resulting in two entirely different sets of wiring in the guitar... And no option to select the new pickup with the selector.
Mate, you make it all look so easy... Have you considered or even perhaps you are making a living with the "hobby" of yours? "I've told this once, I will say it again", you would make some great noise.
I wish I did my guitar any justice already.
Only recently got a Washburn D10SCE instrument. Well, it has proven to be an extremely good thing...
Mind me, have you any experience with Washburns? Comments/criticism?
Thanks for the very kind words. I would love to work as a musician full time, but it's difficult to feed a family of 5 doing that, especially when that talent thing is in very limited supply ;)
I have owned several Washburns, all in the Nuno collection - some N2s and an N4. They were great guitars, but I am not a Floyd guy. Still, great little guitars. Enjoy yours!
And now I know that is possible to change connection or circuit (or whatever you call it) of a pickup. Thanks for the clarification, now I'm not going to die dumb ;-)
Hey Mojo...nice guitar. I was wondering, where do you get all your gear? Local store? Online? You've got a heck of a guitar collection! Thanks for your posts!
Absolutely love that riff at about 3:50. Care to do a quick lesson on that one? That's an excellent blues filler for sitting around jamming with friends.
Great looking guitar btw. I'm a Strat man myself, but one of these days...
Dude, how many guitars do you freak'n have? No matter, I'd have a million tele's and tele copies if I could. Your shit rocks; totally digging the videos. I'm learning too!
I got plenty of non-Tele guitars, such as a McNaught single cut, a Trussart SteelPhonic, etc... but the truth is, I am a Tele kinda guy - like you didn't know already ;)
Mojo man! awesome tele! did you have it built for you or did you buy it second hand? either way, i'm uber envious it a beauty! same pickups as my tele, plus i've got a bender on my tele. those crooks are so cool looking!

Nice guitar.
I'm wondering what these 4 positions are cause I just can see 2 pickups. Wouldn't it be 3 positions then?
krugie 3 years ago
2 pickups, 4 positions... 1: bridge alone. 2: bridge and neck, in parallel. 3: bridge and neck, in series. 4: neck alone.
And there you have it :)

Thanks! I have a lesson for that riff... it's the one entitled something like "fast country riff that I can't play" or something like that.
