  • Nice. I posted a video response of me using GLC to record Call of Duty 2 with Wine. GLC works so well, I'm really glad I found out about it :)

  • What options did you use to capture audio? For me, it seems neither device names ("front") nor hardware addresses (hw:0,0) work.

  • What options did you use to capture audio? It seems the ALSA device names ("front" etc.) don't work, but neither do full addresses like hw:0,0?

  • Oh maybe you can help me? I try to capture a game (septerra core) through wine with glc, but it only records audio. The game itself works fine.

    i use the following commandline:

    glc-capture --out=myvid.glc wine septerra.exe

Do I have to use some extra options? Is there anything I have to be aware of when capturing through wine?

(in general glc works fine on my system, like for the game Sauerbraten)

  • Nice man. <3 GLC. My favorite video capturing software for OpenGL on Linux.

  • Yea it's really good :) nullkey did an excellent job with the latest Wine updates :) PS: this game is fun too, you should try it ;) runs perfect in Wine, and the developers are considering to finish their (unfinished) Linux port
