  • Plucky1 no, but I think you ar the one who had 5minute orgasm

  • Make the one person that disliked this listen to this everyday for the rest of his or her life. Make the volume so loud that that person will go through the deafening experience Beethoven went through

  • The one person that disliked this listen to this forever and also make him the volume the loudest ever to give him the deifying experience that beethoven had been through

  • That's a gorgeous sounding piano!!! O.o

  • Too much rubato :S

  • you can even see the sweat at the end

  • 3:55 lol stuck his toungue at you

  • did i just watch a old guy have a 5 minute oragsm???

  • This is the soundtrack of Sherlock

  • Favorite part-- 0:01 to 4:53

  • Beautiful piano.

  • I'd give both my balls to be able to play just like this

  • You know a musicians good when people criticise the interpretation of the piece rather than the piece itself :)

  • @TheLibraryofBooks so true!

  • The tempo is perfect...so many other people rush this piece.

  • What an amazing performance! This is just the right tempo, in my opinion. If played any faster, it would just sound rushed. I'd give anything to be able to play it like that!!

  • Sorry to say , i think that the theme was not presented effectively . It sounded more technical than virtuostic ! But amazing technique i might say ....

  • His playing of the Beethoven soothed my aching soul.

  • it was a bit slow....

  • well done

    but the message was transmitted?

  • This is actually the reborn of Beethoven, better than Wilhem in this song. Wilhem never played this movement, may say i never found any video in youtube

  • beautiful

  • this is wonderful !

  • is it just me or does he look like Beethoven?

  • @pedrocdo9599 no he doesn't :) you piece of shit

  • @bio1229 Thats a little harsh... although you do see those comments a lot on Barenboim videos.

  • @bio1229 lolz....

  • beethoven is one of the rare composers who can really unite the intellect and emotion. not only is his music very clever (structurally tight and ingenious motivic connections), it is also very emotive and able to truly connect with people on that plane.

  • Beethoven's piano sonatas are superior to anyone else's

  • This is superlative.

  • @teddingtontcu in what way is this superlative??

  • magnificent..!!

  • brilliant!!!

  • he actualy looks like beethoiven same mad face and eyes

  • bravo!!!

  • then in 2:38 he raised his brows and thought "Oh well...."

  • Barenboim IS the master of Beethovens Piano Sonatas, his touch and feeling for the music is beyond compare.

  • I wonder what he was thinking about at 2:36 ...you can just see the emotion reflected in his eyes.

  • @JacobRudduck At 2:36 he's thinking "Did I leave the oven on when I left home?"

  • HAHA

  • at 1:20 too

  • @videoreff Each time I'm reading this comment I'm rolling on the floor with laugh. But hey - people do make that kind of face when they are thinking about the owen : P

  • @videoreff

    LMAO!!! you're hilarious!!!!!

    he plays well though!

  • @videoreff haha made me laugh.

  • @videoreff LOL!!!^^ xD

  • @JacobRudduck The emotion is in his playing, not in his face. ;) Otherwise there'd be no point in listening to this on a CD.

  • Barenboim is one of the most sincere pianists I have ever heard, he really gets to the heart of the music and gives us insights which other performers miss.

I bet Beethoven himself would be pleased with this.

  • Incroyable. Il pense une cohérence entre les trois mouvements, et l'interprétation... folle. Pour moi Beethoven l'aurait joué ainsi.

  • @WisShesify c'est magnifique :)

  • really nice
