Actually, Judaism is the last religion I've considered to convert to--even mythologies like the Norse one or the Greek one are before Judaism on my list. However the same can be said about all the other major religions; yes, I'd rather believe in Thor or Zeus than Allah or Vishnu. You'd be surprised how much sense mythologies make compared with modern religions. I'd say the ratio is fifty-fifty.
If I convert to Judaism I will be taught that I am better then every Gentile because I am one of God's "chosen people", and that Gentiles are to serve the Jews and the Jews should rule them. There are other types of Judaism besides orthodox such as reform, conservative and reconstructionist. You cannot become Jewish in one day, it is a process that may take years.
Judaism isn't a race it's a religion, the U.S government said it was but it isn't. You can't convert races for one thing. It just so happens that a number of Jews tend to have common distinguishing features but it's not really a race. The origins would show that they were middle eastern along with Christianity and Islam whose founders were all from the middle east. I don't look like the stereotypical Jew, I did in fact make the choice to convert.
@IAgsSp3cI I don't think it's forbidden to try to convert people to the Jewish faith but my understanding was that Judaism does not seek converts, as G-d already has a chosen people and He doesn't need any more from among the gentiles. People can also add more of their choice like charity, etc.

Actually, Judaism is the last religion I've considered to convert to--even mythologies like the Norse one or the Greek one are before Judaism on my list. However the same can be said about all the other major religions; yes, I'd rather believe in Thor or Zeus than Allah or Vishnu. You'd be surprised how much sense mythologies make compared with modern religions. I'd say the ratio is fifty-fifty.

There are other types of Judaism besides orthodox such as reform, conservative and reconstructionist. You cannot become Jewish in one day, it is a process that may take years.

Judaism isn't a race it's a religion, the U.S government said it was but it isn't. You can't convert races for one thing. It just so happens that a number of Jews tend to have common distinguishing features but it's not really a race. The origins would show that they were middle eastern along with Christianity and Islam whose founders were all from the middle east. I don't look like the stereotypical Jew, I did in fact make the choice to convert.

It does seem odd (though refreshingly different somehow) to hear a Jew proselytizing for his religion instead of a Christian.

I wanna live according to halacha,
but as living in Germany, having no opportunity to leave here for at least 10 more years I have difficulties to join!
How can I do it? Most of our Rabbies are somewhat closed to that matter.
I even started to learn davening the shema and several blessings and other prayers.
I don't have any kinds of connections to jews (I won't do it out of love) and I seriously BELIEVE.

@Valkonnen so we agree that religions gave women all their rights long time ago before you even learned how to read. but the followers of those religions are the main problem. then, you can talk about people but not religions. Do you know how many countries are in the meddle east which you went all over? Did they tell you that if a mothers dyes unhappy about one of her boys/girls, then hell is guaranteed for the kid?

Pretty much, religious people are by far the most idiotic fools I've ever met. If they just kept their beliefs a private thing and stopped preaching about them to the rest of the world then maybe I would respect organized religion a bit more.
One more thing, Judaism is not the father of all monotheistic religions. There is evidence of cultures who believed in one god that predate Jewish history.
The Torah itself even states that Noah, a non-Jew, believed in one god! LOL...

Actually it's against the jewish code of law to push non jewish people to judaism. Creator gave for all nations a belief system to perfect oneself, called the Sheva Mitzvot Shel B'Nei Noach or the 7 channels for the children of Noach. This was actually the system Avraham, Yitzchak and Jacov were following, perfected themselves through it and became Chariots for the Creator. If you want fullfillment use this system.

Judaism doesn't say that at all.All people can be rightious by choosing and following the correct actions.Non-Jews CAN become Jews, BUT they can also be Noahides and follow the 7commandments for the sons of Noah.(like no murder, robbery, sex sins, Belief in 1 G-d and not idolatry, have courts of justice, no animal cruelty, no blasphemy). People can also add more of their choice like charity, etc.

We just need to remember as human beings that just because a few people act bad we shouldn't judge every single one of them.
