  • Herbert Dennard, Thank you so very Much for posting this!! I listen to it practically daily while online. It so takes me back to my youth when my Mother & I would walk to church each Sunday to enjoy the Blessings of hearing God's Word thru preaching & song. There is absolutely No Spirituality that even "compares" to these praises!!

  • i LOVE IT. i COULD LISTEN TO HIM ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT. i LOVED TO HEAR CLAY EVANS SING. HE WAS TRULY AN AMAZEMENT.

  • I don't know who the person is that dislike this song, I don't even know what your problems may be, or what your beliefs in God may be. I don't know if you just don't like the music to this song. But I do know that when you wake up in the morning it was because the Angels watch over you every night.

  • this song really didn't hit me til i got older. i used to wonder why my former pastor used to have us sing this song when his anniversary was ova. now, i understand why. pastor t really did this song justice on the organ. he went from new school to old.

  • My Grandmother loved this man, when he came on you had to shut up because Clay Evans was on the air.

  • Baby if this don't let you know its a God somewhere, you lost for real! Between Evans at his organist (Eric) and that choir, I could cross over into glory before this song is over and be alright with God and the world.

  • I tell ya, nobody can play this like Eric Thomas, I mean nobody.

  • All Nite All Day Angels watch over me. Yes Yes Yes I give thanks for the help of angels. Whoever is playing that organ is just somthin!!! I have this on cd and it is always a blessing.

No matter what you are facing!

Amen!!!!!! It is so my friends!!! Be blessed!!!

  • i love this song!!!

  • I love this song!

  • bless the wonderful name of JESUS

  • who is on that organ? I just love the way they play!

  • I believe Twinkie.

  • Pastor Eric Thomas- Greater Harvest Baptist Church, Chicago! Former Organist of The Ship, 1 of them

  • I was always told that it was Twinkie on this track. I could be wrong but he even said "go'n girl, go on" @ 3:20 on this clip.

  • As a former choir member and attendee of this recording, I can tell you honestly that Rev. Eric Thomas (current Pastor of the Greater Harvest Baptist Church) is the organist on this song.

Rev. Evans was "encouraging" Miss Pearl, one of the altos in the choir who practically always shouts from this song, when you hear him say "Go'n, girl".

Hope this clears it up for everybody.

  • @fstanley35 Me myself, I don't care who was the organist was all I know is that he played that Hammond and I always love to hear that song when I use to see The Ship on T.V. Oh how I wish they would come on here in Virginia. I miss them so mush Now I have to watch reruns on you tube of them.

  • @BrothaRollins That Boy Eric is playing the hell out of that organ thank you jesus 4 him.

  • @jandrews0001 Rapin it!

  • sweet JESUS!!!!!! There's nothing like that old baptist drag!!!
