I would like to control hardwares, embedded systems... communicate with the hardware, kind of live robotic stuff... does learning C help ? for me.. understanding REAL difference between C and C++ is so difficult at this stage :(
Your videos are really cool im 14 and dont really know where and what to start hacking i DONT want to go to jail i want to be grey hat not stealing stuff but figiring out how it works and how to make my own ... Processing system if you could get back to me that would be great . I would tell you my email but theres so many people on youtube lol. Anyway i want to hack microsoft windows google etc ... And maybe getting through firewalls and stuff .
How would you convert symbols like in this line I copied out of a ps3 save component (named DATA0.DAT)?
‚ÖıT%æºX—ƒà=ºLh ≤ ˇWÆp—SIØ≥Ä^ªÈ¯‰aò´Ül´˛
I was experimenting with a programmer calculator and found out that certain number patterns made different symbols in the corner (example: 123=i when on Unicode in hex). How do you make this calculation reversed? I was also wondering what the outcome numbers might mean.
Hey i am 13 Years old and i want to start programming games and "Word" like things. I was wondering what the best language would be. Alot of my tech friends say i should go with C++. If you know what language games (like world of warcraft, League of legends etc.)are made in then tell me. Ty for the other tutorials and this one. If i can make a request then it would be tutorials on game building or OS and driver downloading on new PC
No its not, C++ is better to use for gamedevelopment then Java, Java is not as good as C++ and start with something like Python or Turing. First learn the language and move from there ( u can start with Java but still learn C++ its the industry standard programming language and works better for game development then Java ) I dont regret learning Java but I find C++ easier to use when making games
@FettersProductions I reccomend starting with Java when learning how to program, it is by far easier then c++ and it is based on certain design aspects *object oriented programming to name one* that is modern. I started on c++ and found myself overwhelmed and wouldn't reccomend that as a first language to anyone. Immediately after I learned c++ I learned Java which took a fraction of the time and is easier.
C++ is what you'll want to end up with later, but for now start with and easier lang.
@FettersProductions Oh and to be clear C++ still has the modern design aspects that java has *to a degree* it just also has other old styles that might confuse a new comer. Most of the big games out there that aren't run from the browser will be built on c++, or predominately c++.
Also good to note, good programmers learn a few languages *usually about 3-4*. Programming languages are like tools, and while you can technically build a chair only using a hammer, using several is more intuitive.
@FettersProductions Java is great, but challenging. If you want something easy I would recommend C# with the XNA Game Studio plug in. Don't worry, there is still PLENTY of code involved, but it is more popular and straight forward.
Cheers, man! Great work. I have studied html php sql flash etc for web design, and am now taking web development course, programing C# in .NET platform, jquery and others alike. I wish I had this great introduction before i even started my first HTML! I already subscribed to your channel, and will definitely check your site too! We need more of a man like you!
I'm am a 15 year old who is really interested in the technology field. I have little experience with java and hacking low security sites. do you think I should start with an easier language because java is a bit hard on me because of my low skill level. What language should I learn ?
@dev9619 I would suggest you start out with PHP. It's a good language that is very useful... As far as "hacking low security sites" I'm sure what you mean is that you are building your own sites and happen to have very low security on them... Or that you are doing penetration testing against sites your friends have created and that they have asked you to determine the security of the site... Because I am sure you are not so dumb as to post to YOUTUBE that you are committing Criminal Mischief!!!
I know the basics of programming (variables, conditional statements, loops, ...etc). I palyed with those to create simple console apps. But how to starting making something meaning. Not very complicated such as a word processor or OS. But something like a small dynamic website. Any advice where to start, what resources can I use, and can I learn that on my own or it's difficult.

@amraag2010 Try out Visual Basic Express. It's free, and you can pick up a dummies book for $20 that will show you what to do.
