Looks like you beat us to the ski pole idea! Hadn't seen your vid before! We duct taped a rotatable mount to the end of our ski pole so we could change the angle and such.
How'd you get it to rotate, do you have pictures of that? I used the suction cup mount to mount to my skis and a friends snowboard in another video. That came out pretty cool.

Ya, it was on the ride hero. Makes for a great angle when you have it out on the pole like that.
