@tokee1234567 yeah but not anymore most korean are naturaly tanned but now for some reason when they debut their agency tell them to not get tanned now the whiter your skin is the better (mostly for idol groups) some of them even take pills ... i was so shoked to see the pictures of my fav idols before they debuted they had such beautiful tanned skin oh well i still like them .... :D

@hot995girl dude. a lot of Korean's skin are pretty pale, esp if they don't go out much (which is the case for most young people nowadays). their idea of beauty is having pale skin but since the summer image is kind of shifting towards the western perspective of having tanned skin, some idols decide to get a tan (but it's only a few who does this). Also, some Koreans get paler as they grow up. I don't know if this is because they stay indoors more but this might be the case for some idols
