I too have had surgery and am much happier that I did but I had a 90 degree curve and was goin to continue to curve. I have a sister (11 years old) who has scoliosids I will not let her go through that unless she has to like me, if my daughter is diagnoised with scoliosis when shes older I refuse to let her have surgery as well, chiroprater is a price that you should be willing to pay so your loved ones dont have to go through surgery, unless needed. So it all depends on how bad the curve is
I really like your video. I was diagnosed w/scoliosis since '85. there were lots of chiropractic visits which did ease my pain. However in '05 I opted for Spinal Fusion Surgery, w/2 Harrington rods. I''m okay with the surgery done, because it has improved my posture, breathing & self confidence . I am still in constant pain. I have a really good Chiropractor & with regular adjustments, I have less tension in my nerves and I sleep better without using prescription meds.
