Oddly enough I always loved this band, today I was in for a pleasant surprise. I found out why the band split up. It turns out Peter Garrett is a Member of Parliament in Australia now. He was elected to Parliament and appointed to positions that he so strongly advocated for in the songs of this band! Talk about a Cinderella story, that not only worked for him but Australia as a whole! I hope so much the USA follows in the footsteps of Australia with environmental, and indigenous rights! Nativ
