Im talking about a four foot black tip with a five foot swimming diameter at the Dundas location. They pile so much lave rock in the tank the poor shark can only circle half of it. The black tip from a couple years ago developed a growing hole in its head and then disappeared. Following that they got two more juvenile blacktips and now they are down to one again!?.
Bigals is BS for keeping POOR choices of sharks for their tank. Why not keep a pair of equally active smoothounds that could be kept in that sized tank for life. Iast I heard the guys at the shop talking about getting bonnetheads- an even worse choice. geeez, talk about setting the worst possible example then selling bamboo eggs to people who know nothing about keeping sharks
They move them to the oakiville location with a slightly smaller tank I have bin told. It is illegal to re-release captive species into any lake or ocean with out special permits!!
so what happens to all of big als reef sharks? Do they just keep killing them or what? They keep getting smaller every time I go by!?

They get too big for the tank and they give the shark to other places with bigger facilities or they get let go in the wild.
