Hey! this is a pretty cool trailer it's caused a pretty interesting posting war too lol. But yeah any who nicely done all the same. I noticed that you had said that it wasn't finished and I'll be sure to check back every once in a while to see if it's been updated or not. Best of luck tho and an all around nicely done. Oh one more question or maybe an idea lol to throw in. Maybe you could kinda break that video clip up and stick it into different parts of the final one. Might be cool!
Yeah this is a pretty cool posting war. In all actuality this teaser is doing exactly what its supposed to. It has everyones attention focused on what this whole thing is supposed to be about. The full lenght trailer will be in a class of its own and the plot and basis of the movie will finally be disclosed. We are working on getting a cast. Once thats done the filming will begin immideately. It is very "teasing" isnt it.

I am amazed at the positive feedback this teaser has gotten. Callie is the writer of this movie and I am the photographer/editor. She has worked for years on this screenplay and it is quite exellent. I decided to help her out with it and post it on Jerry D TV and get it out there. The movie is obviously not about a big chess tounament, However the symbolism in the teaser is uncanning to the script. We are currently working on the full theatrical trailer.

Now to comment on the tailer it was very nicely done and I really liked the different angles that you acquired of the chess board. I've never looked at one like that. I am also looking forwards to seeing the whole movie if you choose to post it here! Great job and keep up the great work!
First off the best criticism is CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. If I recall, a trailer discloses the plot of the movie and a "teaser" for a "trailer" gives a very vague if not non descriptive idea of a movie. And how pray tell do you know that this is this artists finished work. You don't. For all you know this is just a portion of it that he wants to share with his friends and get feed back on what should be added or changed next. So, until you are declared the know it all of the universe, shut up.

For starters i don't see how this video was in any way like an instruction manual for the game of chess. It's no different than you opening up a bunch of packages that you have received in the mail and explain what is in each package and what accessory it is and which cell phone it goes to. If you want to start calling things a manual I'd start with that. To continue...
Now secondly I did get a message back from this user and the IS a WORK IN PROGRESS. It IS NOT a finished product. He needed to share this with a friend of his that is out of state and they agreed that this would be the best way to do it. Thirdly maybe CHECKMATE is the log line but then again you'd have to extend you imagination further than opening packages and regurgitating memorized information about accessories to cell phones. Anyone that has a degree in anything is a professional, thats why you go to college, to be a pro. Im sure theres plenty of people on here with a degree. No need to be in theaters to be a pro. One of your points, shot to hell. Also theres no false advertisement in the trailer. Its a teaser with chess scenes in it. The full trailer will have chess scenes in that too. A nice video here, but may i just say the ending was wrong to me.
