  • Sounds like someone is getting anxious to visit western NC again!

    Nice vid. :)

  • @dprider02 Thanks DP, I am ready to get back there, I don't have as much of restriction of time this go around. I might even go a bit up the BRP afterwards.

    How's the 919? Ready for a trip?

  • Very cool vid Lonnie....so ready to get out there. I hope I'm able to this year.

  • @warezvz That it is! Not a hard person to miss!

  • @britex3186

yeah he remembers me of my grandad =)

  • Texas must have got your creative juices flowing! Very tribal video and poetry.

I gave it a thumbs up. Nice Honda ST

  • @KeukaRyder Long drives from Houston to San Antonio and back give a person lots of time to think. 205 miles of the straightest road between two major metropolis.

The ST was a good bike tho not a good one to ride on the tail of the dragon. was quite heavy.

  • @britex3186 I was in San Antonio on a job interview at an insurance company in 1993 or so. Never been to Texas before. Always lived in the northeast. San Antonio looked pretty flat with not many topographic features. Since Houston is due east of San Antonio I could believe it looks the same for 205 miles. San Antonio kind of reminds me of the scenery in "No Country for Old Men".

  • @KeukaRyder San Antonio is on the south end of the hill country where there can be lots of elevation changes just not very dramatic ones. Texas road engineers tend to flatten or straighten roads cause the curves are too much math for them...I tease but the do over exaggerate the safety margins in the roads.

  • That was a good short story.

  • @pulse0000 Thanks !

  • The prose was great! Have you already been there this year?

  • @L0udP1p35 No but I will be there in August. You doing to come out for the meet?

  • @britex3186 I haven't heard any details about it, but it sounds like fun. So I definitely, tentatively, might possible, be there...maybe.
